Radial Technology. For the first time, our High Density
Technology makes it possible to integrate a protection
belt radialy into a bicycle tire. The tire retains its
shape better. Internal friction and rolling resistance
are reduced. Triple Nano Compound. A completely revised
nano-sized polymer base and fillers has made our triple
compound even better. Small particles - less internal
friction. Ceramic. The addition of a ceramic coating is
entirely new. Small pieces of glass that remain embedded
in the tire and slowly cut their way through a
protection belt are now stopped by the tough, ceramic
particles that blunt the edges of the glass preventing
its destructive migration. Improve your personal best by
a factor of R. R Factor:
Reduced weight: 180 g
Reduced Rolling Resistance: Radial Technology
Reduced puncture risk: HD Ceramic Guard Note: Colored
rubber compounds are good, but black ones are better.
For the very best performance in grip and durability
choose the Ultremo ‘R’ in black.
ROADBIKE Test winner
05/07 “Schwalbe’s new Ultremo is an ideal allrounder
that no other manufacturer even came close to in the
test. An extremely light tire, it offers the best
puncture protection and rolls well. More importantly
however: In all riding conditions, it is so surefooted,
it can be relied upon absolutely on the road - even in
the wet it offers still good traction.
